Our spring nucs are prepared during the spring season from healthy, actively developing colonies, with a productive 2027 queen, marked yellow, brood in all stages and a strong population of worker bees.

They are supplied at a stage when the colony is actively building and ready to continue expanding as spring progresses.

A Spring Nuc is an excellent choice for beekeepers looking to establish a new colony or expand their apiary by increasing the number of colonies they manage.

With favourable weather and good forage, the colony can continue to develop through spring and early summer, offering the potential for future honey production and pollination.

Total price: £250 per nuc.

A £30 deposit is required to secure your nuc for the 2027 season. The remaining £220 is payable before collection.

Please note: the £30 deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

Nuc Box

Each nuc is supplied in a corrugated plastic shipping box with mesh ventilation panels on the sides, providing airflow during transport.

The bees are expected to be available around the end of May 2027, depending on weather conditions and colony development.
